A nature experience for the whole family. A sports activity with emphasis on the 5 senses. The little fun tasks are a challenge for the children and suddenly they are happy to walk with you! The departure is from Brénazet and the map can be found at the campsite. There is a short version and a long version and participation is free.

We’ll groom the ponies together and the children will learn how to guide them. they will go for some rides and help each other riding. 10 € per child. The children below 4 can also have a small tour.

Children from the age of 11, who have the experience of riding, can help Mariken with the ponies. The responsibility remains with the parents. Walking with ponies, cuddling and brushing is possible almost every day!

First we groom the ponies, then saddle them.  Mariken will explain some about the pony’s and how to relate to them respectfully. Chidren may walk first whith the pony of thier choise. A guided ride in silence in the woods for about 1/2 an hour, starting from Brénazet. One parent per child is requested.

The price is 15€ per child.

In Vernusse you can hire Haflingers for riding in the surroundings. They also provide very good riding lessons for beginners. All horses are trained in the natural horseman ship way. Call: +3470076975

This is a must to do when you come to Brénazet it is a super fun day on the river Allier with with Canadian canoes, including lifejackets and Ron’s instructions. Minimum number of people – 4. Early booking is recommended. In high demand there are also outings on Tuesdays.

Bicycles can be rented at Brénazet: 8 mountain bikes of different sizes, as well as child seats. Mountain bike 15 € per day, 7 € 50 for half a day.

Tips: By bike, go to the lake of Lapeyrouse (12 km) lake, with a terrace for a snack.  We have more ideas for cycling around Brénazet!
