Cottage La Source, cozy and welcoming
Nestled in the right wing of the old farmhouse, cottage La Source invites you to enjoy peace and tranquility. To the east, a terrace opens onto the vegetable garden, next to an old well, while a second terrace in the courtyard offers another space to fully enjoy the outdoors throughout the day.
Entirely on one level, cottage La Source has been designed for comfort in every season: a wood-burning stove with an oven, connected to the underfloor heating throughout the entire house.
La Source is also accessible for people with reduced mobility. The kitchen is fully wheelchair accessible, and we are installing a ramp at the entrance so that everyone can stay with complete peace of mind.
Facilities
Furnished for 2 to 5 people
The parents’ room includes twin beds of great comfort with « box-spring » mattresses. For children there are 3 bunk beds. You can reserve a baby kit (cot, bath and high chair).

Cottage La Source is well insulated and heated with a wood stove. It is comfortable for most of the year.
SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES
This cottage is also suitable for people with reduced mobility: a kitchen adapted for wheelchairs and we can install ramps and a riser with supports for the toilet.

The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. There is also a washing machine.
kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, a gas stove, and a small electric oven. When the wood-burning stove is lit, you can also use the oven built into the stove.
two terraces
The entrance and private terrace with picnic bench face east and offers a view on the vegetable garden and pony paddock. You can enjoy breakfast there in the morning sun. In the courtyard to the south, there is a garden table with four chairs where you can enjoy the evening sun, the nice view over the court yard and the surroundings.

Beautiful location and lovely accommodation. Although we weren’t able to enjoy it fully due to car problems, we had a great time. Mariken and Ron are lovely and welcoming and wish we had more time with them. The kids loved the animals and the ride down the hill! Hopefully there’ll be a next time, when we can spend several days and get to properly enjoy. Thank you very much!

We loved staying at La Source. We intended to stay just one night to break up our long journey through France, but on arrival decided to stay another! The gite itself was full of character, cool and comfortable. The farm is great, with wandering animals – a source of fascination for the kids. Wide open spaces – great for running around, and a barn with table football, a peddle-buggy and other games for the kids/families and trampoline and pool. Lovely to meet other families too – very communal feel to the farm. Mariken was so patient with our girl on the horse – she turned her nerves into smiles! Ron also a lovely host. We’ll be back for a longer stay again sometime in the future.

Everything was better than expected! the farm is a magical place with so many special little places to stay. our accommodation was perfect and we slept great, only woken up by the sound of horses and frogs croaking. The food was indescribably delicious, everything so fresh, from own garden, and homemade with love! Here you not only get the best pizza in the whole world but also the warmest hospitality! Thank you, we will definitely come back!

An idyllic location and beautifully renovated, well equipped cottage. Mariken and Ron were very friendly and helpful. Our supper was made from the produce grown on the their farm and was fabulous.

In the summer of 2015, we (my wife, who is wheelchair-bound, and I) spent our holiday in Vernusse, a sleepy village in Auvergne. We stayed at Brénazet, a Dutch couple’s farm campsite. Three apartments have been built into the farmhouse, one of which is wheelchair accessible. We had a wonderful time.
